2025 sign ups are open. Please read below and follow the correct link for your location.
Pickup date will be January 4th 2025.
New this year we are adding Troop 202 to the effort. They will help with South locations. No change in signup process. Going forward we are splitting pickups with Troops 16/91. North locations have been serviced by troops 16/91 for the last couple years, but this year they will be using a different signup link. Please see map below and select the link for your service area.
- Troop 233/202 pickup area:
- Inside of City limits of Cedar Park and Leander (South of San Gabriel River)
or
- Within 10 miles of the Cedar Park Recreation Center (You can check if you are within the 10 mile limit here.) and no further south than FM620/SH45.
- Troop 16/91 pickup area:
- North of an Gabriel River
- Liberty Hill & Georgetown
- Cost is $10 per tree. Cash or checks made out to "BSA Troop 233" or "BSA Troop 16" are accepted.
- Sorry, but we can not pick up wreaths since they can not be put into the chipper due to the wire frame.
-Sign ups accepted until Friday before pickup at 6:00 pm. Form submissions will be disabled when we are no longer accepting new requests. If the form accepts your request we will pick up your tree
- Pickup will be between 8:00am and 3:00pm on Sat. Jan. 6th 2024.
We can not assign a specific pick up time due to routing and last minute changes.
Addresses in Cedar Park will be mostly in the morning, with Leander ones in the mostly after noon. Liberty Hill will start in the morning.
- All trees must be stripped of all decorations and tinsel and must be ready for pickup by 7:30am.
- We highly encourage you to leave the tree and envelope with payment outside the night before so we do not have to disturb you. The signup form allows you to indicate where payment will be left.
You should receive a confirmation email when you sign up, and a reminder email on the Friday evening before pickup.
